MVP buys its first venue - The Snug In Atherton

We are very happy to announce that Music Venue Properties has bought it's first property - The Snug in Atherton.

The official launch event and unveiling of a commemorative plaque, was held on 4th October at The Snug, and was attended by many of those who have helped bring this initiative to fruition including Mark Davyd, CEO and Founder of Music Venue Trust, The Snug’s owner/operator Rachael Flaszczak, John Whittingdale, Minister for Creative Industries, Claire Mera-Nelson Director of Music for Arts Council England and representatives of the Music Venue Properties Board.

Local musicians were also in attendance - Ivor Novello winner Jamie Lawson and 16 year old Jennifer King who is a shareholder in MVP. They performed at an evening event where we invited local members and venue supporters.

To commemorate this exciting step in the MVP journey we have launched a new T-Shirt range featuring some of The Snug branding which are available from the MVP merch page on our new website.
